Christmas Morning

We went to Utah for the holidays, we had so much fun! It's so nice that we live so close to our family that we can visit as often as we do. It was William's First Christmas he didn't seem to care much, but he did get a few toys that he like to grab and put in his mouth. We stayed at The Porter's house for Christmas Which was so much fun! We also stayed at my parents for half the time. WE love being with our family and we are so blessed! I love the christmas and it's a great time to spend with family. I'm also grateful for Jesus Christ birth, and the blessings he gives us all. It was really hard to leave and get back to real life but I think we can handle it. Thanks to everyone who made the holidays so wonderful!

Four Months!

William four month check up went well other than the shots, poor baby he was sad. It broke my heart! He is learning new things everyday i love to see him grow and develop. We love having him in our family!

We loved having everyone over for Will's blessing! It was so good to have visitors. Will was such a good baby the whole time he was being blessed didn't even make one little sound! Jonathan did such a great job blessing William it was beautiful! What a great day:)

This might be old news but we moved to Vegas in August, about ten days later we had William. I haven't had a chance to put any pictures of where we live.

Two Months

Will has GROWN!

Height 23 3/4 inches/ 80th percentile

Man time fly's! I can't believe William is two months old already! We have had so much fun with him and love having him in our family. Today was his two month check up and he got his shots, he really didn't like that! William also smiled at me last Friday for the first time, I loved it! He also gave me a few yesterday, I'm hoping it becomes an everyday thing. He still doesn't want to take a nap for more than an hour during the day but, he only wakes up once in the night,which has been so nice.

This chair was oak with turquoise cushions, Jonathan and I Painted it and My mother in-Law helped me make the cushions.

This night Stand we bought from Savers for five dollars, I painted it and put scrapbook paper on top, I really liked the way it turned out. Also the little lamp was my brothers when he was little, we found it in the garage.

Thanks to everyone who helped with Will's Room, I love it! Everything was given to us and we couldn't have more blessed! Thank you Thank you!

The morning William was born I woke up at about four thirty in quite a bit of pain, I wasn't sure what it was I still had a month until he was due. I tried for about an hour to go to sleep but my efforts didn't work. I decided they might be contractions so i timed them. They where kind of consistent but not really and I had a doctors appointment that afternoon so I told myself i could wait. So i waited probably not the smartest idea I've ever had. Jonathan had an interview at the same time as my appointment so he didn't come with me. His interview was across town which is a lot farther then we both thought. I went to the doctors and waited, and waited, and waited, finally he came in to check me, He told me i was a NINE! I asked him if he was joking he said "this is one thing I don't Joke about" I started crying...Of course. I couldn't get a hold of Jonathan, because he was at an interview. I sent him a text and said " I need you I'm going to the hospital now". Meanwhile the doctor and the nurse begin to tell me i had to go to the hospital now, I didn't even know how to get there I had never been there. One of the nurses wrote me directions and gave me a hug, I left and drove myself to the hospital while in labor.

I got to the hospital and everything seemed a little bit better, Jonathan got there about thirty minutes after I did thankfully! The nurse asked me if i wanted any drugs, I told her if I was already a nine and was in pain all day I think I can do it without. I told her no. But I did wish I had some when they could no longer give me any ! But I survived! I went to the hospital at 2:40 pm and had William at 5:09. They had to use a vacuum to get his head out because his heart rate wasn't coming back up, poor little guy his head was/is a little pointy. But he was ok and that's all that mattered at that point. William had to stay in the NICU for a week. He was having trouble with his resting heart rate for a few days, then he was spiting up and losing too much weight, then it was jaundice, but after all of that he is doing great and he's home. I'm convinced they just wanted to keep him because he's so cute. It was a wonderful experience and I wouldn't change it for the world. The Doctor later told me in all his years being a OBGYN he had only had one other person come in at a nine and she was in some much pain she couldn't hardly walk. He told me I was super women. Ha ha if only. I am grateful for the newest member in our family, WILL!

Cherry Days Parade

We had so much fun on the 4th of July, it's one of my favorite holidays. I know Jonathan doesn't like it as much as I do but he goes for me. What a great husband I have! Jonathan did enjoy the rodeo in Oakley, it was a lot of fun. We also went to Bear lake which was a lot of fun too! It was fun just to get away from real life for a few days. We went on a hike to Bloomington lake and there was still so much snow you couldn't get to the trail, but that didn't stop us. We hiked and hiked with 2 three year olds, a 4 year old, a seven month old baby, an eight year old, a ten year old, and pregnant lady (me), just to name a few. Anyway it was great to be with the family.

Bittersweet

We loved our time in Provo but it was time to move, It was bittersweet. But one thing that wasn't bittersweet (at least for Jonathan) was being DONE with school! Abby had a lot of fun at her school but it definitely was NOT bittersweet to be done with the 1 hour daily commute. All and all we had a great time in Provo and met a lot of great friends and it was a good place to be for the first couple years of our married life. We are now up in Ogden enjoying time with family and just trying to take it easy over the summer (if it would ever warm up) . But man it sure does feel good to be done with school!!

Which School?

Jonathan was accepted to Gonzaga University, and today Jonathan got a phone call telling him he was accepted to UNLV! I'm so proud of him and all his hard work, Hopefully we will know where we will be moving come august! Who knows?? So many hard choices! There are so many pros and cons to both, but UNLV is much closer which I know our families would love.

Well Jonathan and I are having a BOY! My family never really has boys, and especially not for the first baby. Jonathan's side has all boys, he's pretty excited about having a boy, and so am I!

A new addition to our family

We are really excited to announce a new member of our family, we will call it Baby for now. We were really excited to find out in mid-january that we were expecting a child! Jonathan was even able to keep a secret for almost two months until his birthday when we decided we would announce our exciting news. It was fun keeping it a secret because many people had no idea. The best reaction was from Jonathan's family who kept saying things like: "Are you serious?" "This is a joke right"? But both of our families were equally excited to hear the good news. Sometime around the end of September we are expecting a new addition to our family. It will be a time of a lot of change in our family, and we still have no idea where we are going to be in the fall but we are excited for da baby!

We went and saw the lights at Temple Square, It's one of my favorite things to do! It's so beautiful! It was also fun to do something together. The holidays were so fun, we got to spend time with our families and we had a wonderful time!

I can't believe it's been 2 years! I love being married to Jonathan he makes life so much fun! So much has happened in the past 2 years it's crazy to think about.

7. Paid a Plumber $215.00 to unclog the kitchen sink(they get away with murder )

Well a lot more has happened but for now this is all i can think of! I love Jonathan! I know marriage is not always bliss but when i think back all i can see are our happy moments!

Well I love holidays, every holiday. One of my favorite things about them is decorating, I always try and think of things that are cheap, (poor College students) and cute. Some times I accomplish both but some times I don't. I got some old shutters from mt grandmas house and I love them But now I just need to decide what to do with them. I found these pictures and I loved them. I also have been wanting to cover canvas with fabric but canvas is so expensive so today I went to Honks (The dollar Store) and found these cheap wanna be canvas but they will work perfectly!! So excited now I need to find fabric and letters.

Jonathan at the last stretch of the race! He just ran 26.2 miles and is still smiling! I was to proud of him for his hard work. This was Jonathan's first marathon.

I ran with Jonathan the last .1 mile as he crossed the finish line.

This was at the Kids K, I was running with Owen and Olivia. It was such a fun day! I was amazed at all the people a long the way that cheer for people they don't know it was very touching. I know when I was running it really helped having them there, some of them were out with their coats and blankets just sitting on the side of the road. My siblings ran the relay and I wish I could have seen them. they all did a great job! Sarah was with me at the start of the 1/2 marathon and that really helped me, thanks Sarah! Thanks to all those family that came to support us.

Byu Basketball Game

We went to the basketball game 3 hours early to stand in line to watch a really good game! Unfortunately as usual, the refs blew it and we lost a close game. However we have been going to a lot of BYU games this year and have had a lot of fun, we are glad that we have some sort of entertainment. We at least got these sweet glasses (that you couldn't see out of) but were fun to take pictures with. It has been a fun season!

One Year!

Wow time fly's, Jonathan and I have been married for a year. This last year has been wonderful, I'm so happy I have such a wonderful husband, who takes great care of me. We have had so much fun together, living in our own little apartment in south Provo, our new ward, and life. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Jonathan.

We had tons of fun with our good friends Justin and Tiani! It was really nice to get away even if it was just for a couple of days. We spent a lot of time in the pool, and on the strip. The game was even better as we won easily, and the temperature was perfect. The only bad part about the trip was Jonathan's lead foot which got him a hefty ticket.. oops!

It has been a Great summer! Jonathan and I have done so many fun things with our families, friends, and each other. We have been slackers too, we didn't take any pictures! So I hope telling you might make up for it. Jonathan and I went to Lava hot springs with his family and had a family reunion. It was all tons of fun! It was so good to see his family that I had never met or had met once. We went camping with my family to the Wind Rivers, it was also I a lot of fun. My sister Audrey and her family came to visit, it was so good to spend time with them. Audrey and I run a half marathon together, although she was ahead of me most of the time ;). Jonathan is getting ready to run a half marathon on September 5th. I started culinary school in July it's good I enjoy it. We had such a great summer! Thanks to everyone who shared it with us.

How i met my Abby!

So this is the story about how i met the love of my life Abigail! I am new at this blogging thing so you are going to have to cut me some slack if it sucks. Well the first time i met Abby was my Junior year in seminary class. We both had brother mueller and she sat right behind me(although she doesn't remember that at all). I remember abby being very cute and also laughing at my dumb jokes. But at the time i never asked her out or did anything about it (which i now regret a little.) Well time went on and we both went our different ways. I went on a mission to Japan, and Abby was going to school at Weber State and also going on fun adventures to Russia and other places. That brings us to this year 2008. I had recently returned from my mission to Japan and was just trying to get back to normal. I was coaxed by a couple of friends to attend an institute function with free food( i would later learn that abby was coaxed as well). Well the food was ok, but i mostly realized a beautiful girl that i hadn't seen in a few years sitting at the table next to me. Me being shy and a recently returned missionary it was a little hard for me to gather up the courage to go and talk to her. I got a little help from a buddy and i went over and started talking to her. We hit it off good, and i really enjoyed talking and getting to know abby. Well the rest is history. After a spring and a summer of getting to know abby i decided that i couldn't live with out her. I asked her to marry me on August 17,2008 and surprisingly she said yes! I am in love with her and am grateful for all that she does! She means so much to me! So that is our story in a nutshell. We will be getting married December 19,2008 and I can hardly wait. Especially now as we are apart as i am going to school down here in Provo and Abby is still up there at Weber... It's hard but it will definately be worth it in the long run!
